About JerkamerWe want your comments, beta, and pictures. So sign on. We hope to hear from you frequently. The Jerkamer staff is made up of climbers, skiiers, boarders, hikers, kayakers of all levels. We are small right now, so our info is limited. We welcome new Utah rock climbing members.If you feel you know a certain climbing or ski area in Utah well, let us know, we need your help. We need area moderators in the forums, to give out beta, and keep tabs on the posts. We aren't here to make cash or show off and you wont get paid. But you will be real cool. We need pictures and beta on climbing and skiing areas through out Utah. So please contibute. The pictures on here are only to jump start the site, we need more pictures of climbing and Telemarking in Utah. We welcome your comments and pictures. We do have a links page that will have links to local climbing/ski shops, gear companies, climbing organizations(i.e. Access Fund etc.), and other cool sites. If you want your link posted leave a message on the forum. Jerkamer.com is primarily about Utah Rock Climbing, Utah Canyoneering, Utah Telemarking, Utah Mountains, Utah 4 Wheeling, and did I mention Utah Rock Climbing? So if you can't tell its about Utah. We hope people, both Utah locals, and visitors, will use Jerkamer for route beta, and learn about the Utah's outdoor climbing and recreational activities. We feel that Utah has some of the best rock climbing and skiing in the world. Although Jerkamer is primarily about Utah recreation and climbing in Utah, we also welcome beta and pictures on climbing, skiing, telemarking, hiking, canyoneering, and other sports outside of Utah. If you go on a trip, let us know, share the beta. We understand that even though you may leave Utah, and climb elswhere, Utah climbing and telemarking will always be #1. Each member has their own profile page. You can put a picture there, talk about yourself, brag, and let everyone know what you think about climbing in Utah, or telemarking in Utah, skiing in Utah, you get the point. Also if there are recreational sports you enjoy that are not on here, its probly because we have no one who can moderate that topic (like biking, white water kayaking, etc.), so maybe you could help us. Where do you usually climb in Utah? Whats your favorite single climb in Utah? What kind of climbing gear is the best? Where is your favorite Utah backcountry powder stash? Where's your favorite Utah resort to telemark? What kind of telemark gear do you use? Where's the best climbing shops in Utah? Where's the best place to get a base-weld, a P-Tex job, an edge tunning, or a ski wax in Utah? What Utah climbing and skiing area's are you most concerned about? Is that Utah climbing or telemarking area in danger of developement? There are many little Utah towns near the crags, so where do you for food? What is your favorite place to go canyoneering or hiking in Utah? Do you have any funny, scary, or boring stories about Utah canyoneering, hiking, climbing, telemarking, skiing, or four wheelin'? How do you set up your slackline in Utah? Where have you slacklined in Utah? Do you like slacklining? Also, Utah enviormental topics are also welcomed. Jerkamer cares about Utah and we don't want the climbing areas and ski areas ruined be trash and polution. Info on Utah climbing and telemarking is also very important. Trails, travel directions, and route beta is always good. Places to stay in those small Utah towns, places to camp in Utah, are aslo things to share.
